The MHCC Board of Trustees met for a special meeting on April 3rd to discuss the possibility of exploring a new management and/or consulting firm to assist with hospital operations.
The meeting concluded with the decision to remain with Ovation Healthcare for consulting services. This decision will provide essential continuity of services and the opportunity to continue the upward trends currently being experienced. Over the past year, a revised agreement was entered into, allowing MHCC and Ovation to completely realign goals and strategies. Significant process changes and enhanced accountability measures have attributed to positive growth measures. It was agreed that the consideration of other firms would be disruptive at this time, ultimately leading to further financial constraints.
The MHCC Board of Trustees and Administration is committed to opening the RFP process effective July 1st, 2026 and further information about the process will be provided to the public at that time.
