Due to hurricane-related flooding and damage at Baxter International’s North Cove manufacturing plant in North Carolina, there is a nationwide shortage of intravenous (IV) fluids, which is anticipated to last through January 2025. Memorial Hospital of Carbon County has proactively implemented appropriate measures to ensure we remain fully operational for all patients, and we will continue to evaluate IV supply availability during this time.
